Yet another article on the benefits of training on improving brain function specifically memory tasks.  This study focused on specific protein, cathespin B, getting delivered to the brain at a higher level and it's effect on neurogenesis.

While we chase pharmaceutical interventions for much of what we attribute to aging could it be that human beings are suffering from a lack of movement?  Could it really be that simple?  Could it be that breathing deeply into our diaphragms distributes more oxygen to our oxygen starved systems and more oxygen is a good thing for a myriad of human function including memory?  Lifting heavy stuff beautifully makes you smart.

What if every politician began a rigorous training program?  Legend has it that underneath the wool suits Einstein was completely "jacked".
