The show will cover basics of fitness:  Different types of training, how to get started and how to avoid common pitfalls.

We will also be discussing a recent study suggesting that "extreme amounts" of exercise might be bad for heart health.  Too Much Exercise May Be Harmful to Your Health.  While I am a big fan of endurance sports don't fool yourself into thinking that marathoners and IM Athletes are the "fittest" athletes on Earth unless your definition of fitness is defined by the ability to work for hours on end.  For most of us Strength and Power are the keys to living a robust life.  There is great enjoyment on the completion of a marathon or an epic bike ride or summiting a mountain, it can be very good for your "head".  Lift heavy stuff thoughtfully....
